-Pending Sales were up 21.6%
-Inventory levels were down 13.2%
-Median Sale Price increased 23.1% to $113,250
-Months Supply of Inventory was down 22.8% to 6.1 months
Additionally, mortgage rates are expected to remain near historic lows through 2015. The biggest challenge to the housing market continues to be slow economic and job growth. Housing is benefiting from low interest rates, lower inventory and an easing of short sales and foreclosures, and 2013 should maintain this positive trend.
