North Eastern Group Realty is proud to welcome Denise Smothermon. Denise married Eric over 22 years ago when she was completing three college degrees from Indiana-Purdue University. She completed degrees in Psychology, Business, and Supervision/Management and subsequently added three national certifications which she applied to owning and managing her self-made fitness business. Being a successful business owner for almost ten years was rewarding for Denise, but after the first of soon to be three children came along she decided to change paths and stay home while the kids were young. As the kids grew, Denise and Eric became more interested in real estate which inspired Denise to expand her education yet again – completing courses to become a real estate broker. Beyond education, Denise has a background in loyalty and organization as a business owner which she will continue to use to meet the real estate needs of every client.
Denise enjoys helping people. She volunteers in literacy tutoring, food pantry drives, and regularly at her church. She believes “Paying it forward is the best medicine for a fulfilling life!” If you ask her deepest passion, it’s our military! She is an avid supporter every man and woman who serves our country.
When not working hard or volunteering, Denise enjoys time outside with her family especially hiking, canoeing, and camp fires. For days inside, she finds cards, games, and movies fun. As with her family and friends and in business, throughout her life Denise demonstrates loyalty and organization.
