In addition to our annual tradition of collecting canned goods, each year North Eastern Group Realty takes nominations for families in need of assistance during the holiday season. From the nominations we received, we selected two families to provide assistance for this year.
The first of our nominated families has six children under the age of 15, five of whom were adopted with disabilities and the sixth with heart issues. In addition, the mother just found out she has a brain tumor. This family rents a home managed by one of our agents and are very close to eviction because they can not pay rent. We have been able to step in and help get this family’s rent caught up and more during this very difficult season.
In addition to the first family, we have also been able to help out a single mom with three daughters who needed help providing Christmas gifts for her family. Her daughters are ages 9, 5, and 1. We were able to overwhelm this family with a generous amount of gifts and some financial support.
It is always a great joy to us at North Eastern Group Realty to serve our community in this way each year at Christmas.
