Home Tips: Decorating Your Mantel for the Holidays

With the Holidays rapidly approaching its not too late to get the inside of your home feeling and looking the way you want to for you and your family!

Stockings are an easy and fun way to decorate and hang in front of your burning fireplace. Plain or personalized, Stockings are a fantastic and simple way to spice up your mantel for the season!

Decorating above your mantel is just as important as decorating the rest. Putting a wreath or a star that matches the stockings you have is a great way to do it!

If a wreath doesn’t match the look, you’re going for around your mantel this holiday season, there’s always the option of putting a star above it as well.

If your mantel is already decorated with a mirror this holiday season, try adding red ribbon or garland to the piece to add some holiday spirit.

Snow Village:

Adding a small snow village to the top of your mantel is a great way to add comfort and a cozy feeling to your home.

If the snow village doesn’t fit the theme of your home, try candles. Scented or unscented, real or fake. Candles will make any guest feel at ease when set out nicely on your beautiful mantel.

Adding garland to your mantle is an alternative to adding the snow village and candles, though garland would be a nice touch to both. By itself or with ribbon and left-over ornaments from your tree, you can spice up your mantle however you see fit.

With these last-minute ideas, we hope you can add some holiday cheer to your home this Christmas and Holiday season.
