The North Eastern Group and North Eastern Group Realty Make Donations to the Mission Church

This holiday season, both The North Eastern Group and North Eastern Group Realty have chosen to support a local ministry, the Mission Church, with financial donations of $25,000 each, for a total of $50,000 toward the church and its local outreach. These donations are consistent with a Zehr family tradition of helping those in our inner city, sharing the gospel and striving to end generational poverty.
Mission Church serves men, women, and children throughout the Fort Wayne area through their numerous ministries. In addition to their Sunday morning services and classes, the church runs a Girls Club for girls in the 4th-8th grades as well as a Boys Club for boys in the same age bracket. Both of these clubs provide bi-monthly activities, teaching, and fellowship for young people in the area.
Additionally, Mission Church runs a Laundry Room Ministry, Food Ministry, and Bicycle Ministry, serving those in our own community who are without a home and are in need of clothing, meals, and transportation.
We are proud to support this ministry that has had and continues to have such a strong, positive impact on our local community. The donations were made on November 17th and we are excited to share that the donations comprised about 2/3 of their annual budget which is normally raised at fundraisers that had to be cancelled this year.
