Gary is an honorably discharged United States Navy veteran originally from Mid Michigan. After just over 7 years in the Navy, Gary settled down in DeKalb county in 2001. He is a father of four and a grandfather (Papa) to 6. When he isn’t focusing on his clients you can often find him listening to audiobooks, trying a new brewery, or riding his Harley when weather permits.

The process for buying this house was an absolute rollercoaster, and Gary Lee was the seatbelt holding us in place and making sure we didn't fly out halfway through. To be honest, I probably had to be one of the worst/hardest clients Gary has ever dealt with. I’m mean, could never make up my mind on what I wanted, how much I wanted to spend, had a really good habit of ignoring texts/calls plus I’m very adulting dumb and had no idea what was going on 99% of the time. Even with all of my challenging attributes, Gary never seemed to be phased by it. He went along with my madness/confusion and managed to find and sell me a house. A house I whole heartedly believe is perfect for my daughter and I. The most important factor in selecting a realtor for me was that it was someone I could trust. Gary is someone I could completely trust. The thing that impressed me most with Gary is that he sat down and asked us a lot of questions about the house before listing it. He truly wanted to understand what made the house valuable to us so that he could use that in his marketing. I was also very very impressed with the professional photos that he had taken. His online advertising campaign was fantastic and I appreciated that when the house didn't sell right away he started doing multiple Open Houses and was looking for other ways to attract buyers. The whole reason I picked Gary is that I trusted him. He did not let me down. When our house didn't sell right away, I could see that Gary was personally concerned and was looking for any opportunity he could find to attract prospective buyers. That meant a lot to me. I know other realtors who are just in it for the money. They have an air of arrogance about how great they are. Personally, that's not the type of realtor I'd want to deal with.

Gary was the first and only realtor we dealt with this time. I previously bought a house and I didn't feel like she met my needs. Gary was perfect from the start. He listened. We didn't have a very big list of demands but he knew what we wanted. But the MOST important thing was that he was available. He got us looking at homes pretty much the minute we expressed interest. He was quick and drove us around to houses that I was interested in seeing. He pointed out major faults and when we finally found THE house, he knew. I didn't think it would be the one until we walked in. And Gary let us know what was great about the house and what wasn't. We loved it and he was there when we wanted to come back a second time the same day to see it again. Gary helped me paint even so that we could meet FHA requirements. Definitely an above and beyond realtor. Again, I can't say enough good. He really is the best and he was really there for us. As I stated before, he was great. Awesome communication and always on time.

As a first time buyer I was nervous and clueless going into this. Gary understood that and always took the time to explain everything everything to me. Gary was patient with me, spending about a year trying to find the right place, but never losing contact. Gary would check in from time to time to see how the search was going or to present me with new listings he'd found. In the end, we found the right place and again Gary was right there every step of the way explaining the process, what comes next, what I need to do next. I couldn't have asked for a better agent or a better overall experience. I will definitely recommend Gary to friends and family and look forward to doing business with him myself again in the future.
